Indications and Usage

CIBINQO is indicated for the treatment of ‌moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis‌ in adults whose disease is not adequately controlled with other systemic therapies (such as biologics, cyclosporine, methotrexate), and who are candidates for systemic therapy.

Dosage and Administration
Recommended Starting Dosage‌: 100 mg orally once daily. If there is no adequate response after 12 weeks of 100 mg daily treatment, can increase to 200 mg once daily. Discontinue treatment if no adequate response after 12 weeks of 200 mg daily dosing.
Can be taken ‌with or without food‌, at approximately the same time every day. ‌Swallow the tablet whole; do not split, chew, or crush it‌
For patients who are CYP2C19 poor metabolizers, dosage reduction is recommended. No dose adjustment is needed for mild or moderate hepatic impairment; avoid use in severe hepatic impairment.
Contraindications

None (only contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to abrocitinib or any excipients of the product).

Warnings and Precautions
Serious Infections‌: Increased risk of serious bacterial, fungal, viral, and opportunistic infections that can lead to hospitalization or death.
Hepatic Impairment‌: Avoid use in patients with severe (Child Pugh C) hepatic impairment.
Thrombosis‌: Increased risk of thrombosis, including deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism.
Embryo-Fetal Toxicity‌: Can cause fetal harm. Advise patients of potential risk to fetus and use effective contraception during treatment.
