On June 9, Zai Lab announced that its ADC novel drug Tisotumab Vedotin has received its first marketing approval in China for the treatment of adult patients with recurrent or metastatic cervical cancer who have progressed during or after chemotherapy.

Tisotumab Vedotin is a tissue factor (TF)-targeting ADC composed of Genmab’s human monoclonal antibody targeting TF and Pfizer’s ADC technology, which utilizes a protease-cleavable linker to covalently conjugate the microtubule-disrupting agent monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE) to the antibody.
