\nIndications and Usage<\/p>\n
CIBINQO is indicated for the treatment of \u200cmoderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis\u200c in adults whose disease is not adequately controlled with other systemic therapies (such as biologics, cyclosporine, methotrexate), and who are candidates for systemic therapy.<\/p>\n
Dosage and Administration
\nRecommended Starting Dosage\u200c: 100 mg orally once daily. If there is no adequate response after 12 weeks of 100 mg daily treatment, can increase to 200 mg once daily. Discontinue treatment if no adequate response after 12 weeks of 200 mg daily dosing.
\nCan be taken \u200cwith or without food\u200c, at approximately the same time every day. \u200cSwallow the tablet whole; do not split, chew, or crush it\u200c
\nFor patients who are CYP2C19 poor metabolizers, dosage reduction is recommended. No dose adjustment is needed for mild or moderate hepatic impairment; avoid use in severe hepatic impairment.
\nContraindications<\/p>\n
None (only contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to abrocitinib or any excipients of the product).<\/p>\n
Warnings and Precautions
\nSerious Infections\u200c: Increased risk of serious bacterial, fungal, viral, and opportunistic infections that can lead to hospitalization or death.
\nHepatic Impairment\u200c: Avoid use in patients with severe (Child Pugh C) hepatic impairment.
\nThrombosis\u200c: Increased risk of thrombosis, including deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism.
\nEmbryo-Fetal Toxicity\u200c: Can cause fetal harm. Advise patients of potential risk to fetus and use effective contraception during treatment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
