Liver Function Improvement: Indicated for the treatment of liver function impairment caused by chronic liver diseases.

Adults: The usual dosage is 1 to 3 tablets (20–60 mg) per day, divided into 2 to 3 doses.

Energy Metabolism: The drug improves hepatic cellular energy metabolism by inhibiting pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase and increasing oxygen uptake by liver cells.
Hepatoprotection: It is an active component of pangamic acid (Vitamin B15) and demonstrates hepatoprotective effects, including promoting liver regeneration and alleviating fatty liver.
4. Safety and Warnings
Contraindications: Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the drug or those with severe renal impairment.
Precautions: Use with caution in patients with hypotension. Patients with renal impairment or the elderly should undergo renal function testing prior to use, with dose adjustments as necessary.
5. Adverse Reactions and Clinical Research
Common Adverse Reactions: Occasionally, central nervous system symptoms (headache, dizziness, somnolence) and gastrointestinal disturbances (abdominal pain, thirst) may occur (incidence 0.1–5%).
Rare Effects: Rarely, anorexia, nausea, vomiting, dry skin, or gum swelling may occur (incidence <0.1%).
Reversibility: Adverse reactions are generally low in frequency and subside upon discontinuation of the drug.
