- Dosage and Administration Administration: The solution consists of two parts (Part I: 240ml; Part II: 10ml) and must be mixed before use. It must not be used separately. Preparation: Perform under aseptic conditions similar to intravenous medication. Transfer Part II into Part I using a sterile syringe and shake gently to mix uniformly. Usage: Use within 6 hours after opening. Discard any residual liquid after use; do not store. Dosage: Cataract surgery: 20-500 ml; Vitreous surgery: 50-4000 ml; Glaucoma surgery: 20-50 ml. Dosage is determined by intraoperative needs.
- Mechanism of Action According to animal experiments, this solution maintains corneal water content, electrolyte levels (Na⁺, K⁺, Cl⁻), and corneal endothelial cell morphology. It also has a minimal effect on electroretinogram (ERG), suggesting a role in maintaining retinal function.
