1. Indications and Usage
Peptic Ulcer Disease: Treatment of gastric ulcers.
Gastritis: Improvement of gastric mucosal lesions (such as erosion, bleeding, redness, and swelling) associated with acute gastritis and chronic gastritis during acute exacerbation.
2. Dosage and Administration
Adults: Oral administration after meals. The usual dosage is 0.1 g (1 capsule) three times daily.
Individualization: Dosage may be adjusted according to the patient’s age and symptoms.
Administration: The capsules should be taken orally after meals.
3. Mechanism of Action
Mucosal Protection: Troxipide is a novel gastroprotective agent that enhances gastric mucosal defense factors to promote the repair of ulcerated areas.
Specific Effects: It has no effect on gastric acid secretion but increases gastric mucosal blood flow and promotes tissue repair. Animal studies suggest it prevents and treats experimental gastritis and acute gastric mucosal lesions.

Hypersensitivity: Contraindicated in patients with a known hypersensitivity to troxipide or any components of the formulation.
