TPIAO® is the commercial brand name of Recombinant human thrombopoietin injection, a recombinant hematopoietic growth factor developed by Shenyang 3SBio. It binds to c-Mpl receptors on megakaryocyte progenitors, stimulating megakaryocyte proliferation and maturation, thereby increasing platelet counts.
Main Indications
For the treatment of thrombocytopenia caused by chemotherapy for malignant tumors; also indicated for immune thrombocytopenic purpura in adult patients who have inadequate response to conventional therapy.
