1. Indications and Usage
Peptic Ulcer Disease: Treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers.
Gastritis: Management of acute and chronic gastritis.
Other Conditions: Used for jejunum ulcers, colitis, and gastric spasms.
2. Dosage and Administration
Adults:
Prevention: 50 mg three times daily.
Treatment: 100 mg three times daily (typical course is 1 month; severe cases may require 2-3 months).
Maintenance: Once symptoms improve, 50-100 mg three times daily.
Children: 50-100 mg three times daily.
Administration: Take as prescribed; do not discontinue early.

Contraindications: Exercise caution in patients with contraindications to prostaglandin类药物 (e.g., patients with glaucoma).
Special Populations: Use with caution in pregnant and lactating women.

6. Drug Interactions
Spironolactone: May decrease the absorption of Gefarnate.
