Heyirui® is the commercial brand name of Imipenem and Cilastatin Sodium for Injection and Sodium Chloride Injection, a carbapenem antibacterial agent developed by Hunan Kelun Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. Imipenem inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis with broad-spectrum bactericidal activity; cilastatin prevents imipenem degradation by renal dehydropeptidase, protecting its antibacterial effect.
Main Indications
Treatment of moderate to severe infections caused by susceptible bacteria, including lower respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, intra-abdominal infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and sepsis.
